When it comes down to it, Breathless Wines is a family affair, built by the love of three sisters, Sharon, Rebecca, and Cynthia, and the passion for life that their mother passed down to them.
The sisters, along with Breathless Winemaker Penny Gadd-Coster, are dedicated to sparkling winemaking in the traditional method, creating refreshing sparkling wines that pair well with life’s special moments. Breathless Sparkling Wines are hand-crafted from select Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes using the traditional French method, méthode champenoise, guided by the expert winemaking hand of Penny Gadd-Coster. Penny, recently named “Winemaker of the Year” by the North Bay Business Journal, is a renowned winemaker with 35 years of experience in sparkling winemaking.
The path to happiness and a sense of well-being resides in the simple act of savoring the little things, like a baby’s laugh; a loved-one’s smile; a fire softly burning; or warm bread, just out of the oven. Or even enjoying a glass of bubbles with a long-missed friend.
The woman on our label is a tribute to our Mother, Martha, and all the men and women who teach and remind us to take each breath we are given as a gift to be cherished.
We use the finest Guittard chocolate, exclusively, along with pure ingredients chosen for our recipes: sweet cream butter, pure cane sugar, rich dark vanilla and fresh nuts.
Our products are handcrafted in small batches to ensure each piece will be a special treat; remaining consistent and delicious from the first contact on the palate to the last scrumptious bite. Our toffee pieces are cut or broken and hand dipped one-by-one in warm, tempered Guittard chocolate. Similarly, each of our recipes has its own special touch that is carried out by hand.
Estero gold is handmade in the style of an Asiago, reminiscent of a Montasio, two of the famous cheeses from the Swiss-Italian dairy country. Our young cheese, at about 6 months aged, is very pliable, with grassy, fruity overtones. As it continues to age, the flavor deepens, becoming complex and nutty. It has an open texture with small holes and straw-like coloring. Its subtle, creamy and buttery taste nicely complements other foods. Its fine rustic flavor can be paired with any wine. It also melts wonderfully in pastas and polenta, or try it shredded on a salad.
Valley Ford Cheese & Creamery is located on the rural coast of Sonoma County, California. The company produces handcrafted, Italian style artisan cheeses made from 100% Jersey cows milk. The cows have access to pasture 365 days a year, are never treated with growth hormones or anitbiotics, and the land is certified organic.
The cheeses are sold in grocery stores, restaurants, wineries, online, farmer’s markets, special events, and in their brand new retail & restaurant location in Valley Ford. For the past 12 years the company has been expanding its distribution throughout the bay area and can now be found in southern California and scattered throughout the midwest and east coast.
Karen Bianchi-Moreda and her son Joe Moreda, Jr. are the 4th and 5th generations to be involved in the dairy industry. Karen grew up on her family’s dairy farm and in 2008 began exploring ways to carve her own niche in the industry.
Acclaimed winemaker Pete Seghesio embraced another long standing family tradition, studied with Italian masters, and secured the best ingredients from local farms to create the most memorable tasting experience in wine country.
By combining traditions passed down through his family, techniques learned from the Italian greats, and seasonal ingredients harvested from local farms, Pete and the Journeyman Meat Company team strive to create the best products in one of the world’s most bountiful culinary regions: Sonoma County.
We admit it. We’re foodies. Which isn’t too surprising, considering the culinary attractions of the Napa-Sonoma wine country we call home.
We love creating exceptional taste experiences. Serving up worthy indulgences and healthier snacks that mix the familiar with the unexpected, for culinary surprises you’ll want to savor and share.
Of course it all starts with fresh, premium ingredients. We strive to offer Organic and Natural options. Ethically sourced from crops that are non-GMO, and that we believe will help support the honey bee populations critical to agriculture and our environment.
We’re not talking about simple snacks. We’re talking about real food, made by real people, with a real passion for what we do. We invite you to taste the bounty of Torn Ranch for yourself.
“First, get a handy oven temperature gauge to check the oven temperature – just because the dial says 325 degrees, it might not be that temperature in the oven. Once you know the real temperature, let’s focus on an even bake. If your cookies are baking unevenly, it is probably due to the heat in your oven being uneven. Rotating your sheet pan during baking is a quick method to combat this common issue. A good rule of thumb is to rotate halfway through the baking time. That should help prevent the issue!”
